The anti-law is gaining the rights of citizenship
After two disgraceful sessions in the People's Assembly
When you are in power, it does not mean you have the right to put your foot on another person's head
We recognize the constitutional right and not Berisha's rag
Speech by the Chairman of the Socialist parliamentary group, Namik Dokle
The PS's stance toward the dictatorship state is clear and firm. It is a programmatic stance, neither opportunistic nor pragmatic. Meanwhile, Berisha and his propaganda strive to prove that the PS had no "distance" from it, whereas in our program we have confirmed:
"We categorically condemn the communist regime, its political, social and economic methods, which could not ensure the rapid development of the country and the improvement of individuals' welfare. We reject the practice of the party-state and of Enver Hoxha's dictatorship, beginning with the ideologization of everything, the violation of human rights, and persecution in the name of the 'class struggle'"
(PS Program - page 60)
You surely know this programmatic stance of the PS, you who are the initiators of the so-called law against genocide. But here in parliament they cite for us journalists, rhapsodes, even mice. Well, gentlemen, I am citing for you a leader of European freedom and democracy, the words he said when the British Parliament gave him the mandate to lead the government in the war against fascism. That day, Churchill said: "Whoever thinks of building the present by dealing with the past loses the future."
This great leader of European freedom and democracy said it at a time when, alongside Hitler, ballists, Ustashas and Chetniks had begun to emerge in the world. That is why there is so much Ballist passion here too from certain offspring of yesterday.
Do you want to turn the political scene back to the partisan-Ballist war? Your game is lost, because every truth can be covered up, but not the truth of freedom. Those who lay flowers, or speak about the liberation war with extreme demagoguery, those who decorate Hysni Lepenica, Gjon Marka Gjon and others, have secretly, like thieves at night, buried the first general of the Anti-Fascist resistance in Europe, Myslym Peza. And do not forget, gentlemen, that these words were spoken before General De Gaulle. And do not forget, gentlemen, that even the future candidate for President of the United States, Bob Dole, announced his candidacy on a marked day in his life: the 50th anniversary of being wounded in the war against the fascists.
And yet you ask for accounts here, as if we were defending Ballist values. Did Myslym Peza and his comrades perhaps have the parliamentary microphones and call out: "Hey, Ballists, move aside because we are killing the Germans!" Whoever joined the occupier suffered his fate. Speak about generals of the dictatorship or about imprisonments.
I value this stance. But at the same time I raise the question: Who informed on Gjin Marku in prison?! A Sigurimi colonel, says Arbnori. But there were also two or three mice running around. And you, Mr. Pjetër, since you have the right to open the archives to find your alibis, open them properly and find out: Who informed on Gjin Marku, if afterwards he did not come out of prison except in death?
It is completely clear that those who initiated this law know...
very well that the PS has condemned and is against
- the class struggle and its consequences;
- extrajudicial killings and political trials;
- torture used in violation of the laws of the time;
- the inhuman treatment of political prisoners and other prisoners;
- massive and violent expropriations;
- the destruction of cultural values;
- social contempt and discrimination;
- mass sentences and executions;
- and other acts of the totalitarian state mentioned in the statement of the Initiative Commission for denouncing the crimes of the Enver Hoxha dictatorship.
In this forum there are certainly also people who have suffered, as well as true intellectuals who deserve respect. But in this initiative, there are above all those who yesterday were zealous servants of the dictatorship and today are disgusting servile followers of neo-dictatorship or political genocide, if we speak using the term invented by them themselves.
If we truly want to denounce genocide and those who carried it out, let us take them one by one. People ask:
Who committed genocide?
Ndreçi Plasari or Ilir Meta and Pandeli Majko?
Are you speaking about religious genocide?
The last two priests in Shkodër were sentenced in 1974, and for what? For an illegal baptism. Say who did it? The ever-present Rustem Gjata, who also lynched Zef Brozi. Speak about genocide
